Those of you who've had your hair grayed on stage: does all gray hair spray smell bad? The stuff they used on my hair last night smelled vile. But I think that might have been due to how long it had been around. Ew. Must find something else before tomorrow night's dress rehearsal; that nearly made me ill. I washed my hair when I got home, but there's still a faint tinge of vile this morning (or maybe that's just psychological at this point).

There's always the white stuff you brush in rather than spray on...

Agreed. The stuff I used in "Not Enough Rope" was brush on white and had the faint smell of watercolor paint. It did not smell horrid. I think they need to get you some better stuff.

There was a lot of gray used in The Sorcerer and no one seemed to stink...
