Announcing: The Willa's Hats Project.
Dec. 28th, 2007 09:59 amThe daughter of a friend of my mom's was diagnosed with cancer this summer. As you can see in this article, she's quite a kid and so are her friends.
I thought about giving her a hat for Christmas, but my mother pointed out that she has lots of hats and it might be a better gift to donate one to the hospital cancer center instead. And that got me thinking. I have lots of crafty friends. Maybe they'd like to help so we can send a bunch of hats, not just one?
And thus was born the Willa's Hats Project. Check out the link below!
