Knowing one's limits

I broke down and told the production editors that they simply weren't going to get the April Enigma stuff by Stamford this weekend. I don't think it's physically possible at this point, and it certainly isn't energetically possible. Not with eleven more sets of social studies questions to write (and yes, [livejournal.com profile] evelio, I do try to make sure I know what I'm writing about before I write! Which is why the economics ones are so tough).

The April 'Nig should still be out on time, it'll just be a little more crunched in the production stage.

Even so, I don't think I'm going to get a full night's sleep between now and Stamford (and I certainly won't at Stamford).

Don't they have anything better to do??

If one of the following is your representative, please contact them and tell them to stop being such twits. (Though it seems this was done by the chairman himself, not by the committee... they still should be chastized.)
