Songs.

Songs I should learn/relearn/master (Broadway):
"I'm Not That Girl"
"There's a Fine, Fine Line"
"I Ain't Down Yet"
"Moments in the Woods"
"When You're Good to Mama"
"Look to the Rainbow"
"Growing Up Catholic"
"Hold On"
"He Plays the Violin"?
"My Mother's Wedding Day"?
"My New Philosophy"?
"Back to Before"? (probably too belty)

Songs I should learn/relearn/master (Classical/opera):
"Chacun a son gout"
"Pret des ramparts de Seville"
Something Mozart
Copland's "Old American Songs"
Something Vaughan Williams
"A lady fair, of lineage high"?
Mad Margaret's solo
"Alone, and yet alive!"
The awesome songs in that book of Spanish-language art songs
"O Thou That Tellest"
Other oratorio stuff?

Must be others...should find voice teacher...should do more singing...should have a life...

"O thou that tellest" is one of my favorite Handel pieces. :) "Back to Before" is only belty if you decide to attack it that way. The best voices I've heard on it are legit ones that know how to add power/volume without belting.

Ooooh. I love "Growing Up Catholic." (I assume you mean the one from Nunsense.) Made me cry the first time I saw/heard it.

And I, too, should find a voice teacher and cetera.

John tried to send me Mad Margaret's solo, but it didnb't work. Bah.
I heart "into the woods" and "There's a Fine Fine" is one that's I'd love to be able to sing one day. :)
I don't know the others, well, save for "I'm not that girl" which I don't know THAT well yet. ;)

I know "I'm Not That Girl" (Ignores the resounding 'duh's :)), though I'm sure I usually sing it an octave lower than it's written.

I recommend any of the alto mezzo solos from Vivaldi's Gloria.
