Maybe I should stress into my livejournal more often. After I posted my last entry, I got a call from an interview I had yesterday. They want me! It's a 3-6 month position, so not exactly permanent, but the checks won't be delayed six weeks, either.

It's an hour's drive away, which is also less than ideal, but I'm willing to try that to get a steady source of income.

Whew!

Yee, and if I may say so, hah! Good for you, Kath. So long as it doesn't start before the 21st, of course. =) The drive is a pain--but it's a good time to get your NPR fix. Or get a bunch of audiobooks from the library.
