Scotland needs men!

The Belmont Dramatic Club's production of Brigadoon is in dire need of men. (We could use some more women for the chorus, too, but we're desperate for men.) We need:

Charlie Dalrymple: tenor, sings "Go Home With Bonnie Jean" and "Come to Me, Bend to Me"
Harry Beaton: No sung solos, but crucial dramatic moments
Chorus: all parts, but especially tenors!

Rehearsals are Mondays and Wednesdays at 7 and Sundays at 2, at First Baptist Church in Belmont (in Waverley Square -- accessible by 73 bus from Harvard). Performances are April 25-27 and May 2-4 at Belmont Town Hall in Belmont Center (accessible by 74/75 bus from Harvard). (Yes, this means I have to miss ToV first spring event, boo.)

Cross-cast! Cross-cast! (Yes, I know these are two men who are rivals for the affections of the same woman, it's not really appropriate...but it'd be funny. :) )

Sorry, I'm not much of an actor or singer. And even if I did sing, I wouldn't be a tenor. But good luck with your casting.

Hmm... anything I would want? It's been a long time since I saw Brigadoon.

As I recall, Charlie is a good-natured cheerful young love interest, and Harry is the moody/sulky young man who feels thwarted by life and decides to get everyone killed. (*I'd* play them, not sure how much they're your thing.) And the chorus gets lots of stuff to sing.

You'd make a good Harry, I think. And I'm sure they'd have you sing most of the chorus music as well.
