The Independent Reviewers of New England have a set of theater awards. They're like local Tonys, more or less. Community and professional productions are eligible, but understandably, most of the nominees are professional productions. They have separate awards for "small productions" and "large productions" (the latter being the ones in the theater district, mostly, like national touring shows and such).

Anyway, Ragtime got four nominations in the musical productions, small production categories -- best actor (for our Coalhouse), best director, best ensemble playing, and best musical production. And Anything Goes got nominated for best choreography and best director! It's pretty amazing that two of the very few community productions to get nominations at all were shows I was in. :)

The winners are announced in March, I think.
