In other news, Legends feast yesterday was fun. It seems cruel, though, after the long winter off-season, to give us a one-evening taste and then make us wait two months for the first full event! I'm such an addict, it's sad. Still, interesting things are happening, and the spring is shaping up to be fun. I trashed my voice singing, though -- our little quartet performed for the group, but people were talking and the acoustics in the room weren't great, so we ended up shouting more than is good for us.

Yeomen is good too so far. tenore and mister_nick and the other yeomen were very patient on Saturday while we went through the blocking (such as it is) for my solo. (And I do like that solo. It's one of the best alto solos in the G&S canon, I think.)

I suppose I should go back to doing my work now. Though I'd much rather curl up somewhere with a book and a cup of cocoa and a nap.
