I did it!
Unofficial time (via iPod stopwatch): 36:40. Ran the whole way. And didn't feel too bad afterwards, either. (One knee is cranky, but generally all ok.)
Thanks, Dave & Chris, for getting me started and keeping me going on this crazy new adventure. Six months ago -- hell, three months ago -- I wouldn't have thought my running 3 miles without stopping was remotely possible. But I did it.
And thanks, too, to my cheering section -- at at least three different points along the race, there were people there to cheer me specifically. Plus all the Somervillians who came out to cheer us all on.
They ran out of medallions, which is kind of dumb (didn't they know how many people they had registered?), but I know what I did. Rawr!
