In other news, now back in my regular office. It's good to be back, especially since the push in Dayton means that I should be able to keep to a vaguely sane schedule for a while.

I was idly watching the Screen Actors' Guild awards last night. First, why does nobody else have an award for best ensemble cast? I think that's a great idea. And second, I was stunned by how unable I was to recognize most of the cast of RotK out of costume/makeup/wigs/etc.

Several awards do include a best ensemble prize, and I agree that more of them should. It's more common in television than film awards, which I suppose isn't surprising.
