crossfire_, after various other people...
1. To the best of my knowledge, I've never broken a bone. I've sprained my ankles repeatedly, and made two trips to the ER -- one for one of the ankles, and one when I was in the midst of a near-nervous breakdown (see previous entry...).
I was in the infirmary for a week in graduate school with chicken pox; that's the only time I've ever been effectively in the hospital. Thus far. *knock on wood*
2. Many of my friends call me Kath. Those who know me through MITG&S tend to call me Kat. Those who know me from the NPL often call me Saxifrage or Sax.
3. Blood doesn't bother me unduly.
4. I don't mind needles. Except when they're inserted by incompetents.
5. I'd be willing to walk through Hell for a few people I know. Family and close friends.
6. The dark's just fine with me. I don't see well in it, but I love the stars and the way a forest looks in the moonlight.
7. I don't know that I've ever been in a real physical fight. I stomped on my brother's foot while wearing clogs once as a kid, and I did slap someone once, but that's about it.
8. I waver between feeling like I've accomplished a lot and feeling like I'll never accomplish much of anything.
9. My pet peeves: bad grammar, incompetence (yeah, I know, I should really just get used to that one...), and inconsiderate smokers.
10. I don't have a DVD player. Heck, I'm still using a VCR that's close to 20 years old.
