It's going to be a long week.
Nov. 1st, 2004 09:32 amThings I did this weekend that I'd never done before:
Questions I had this weekend:
Between heels at the wedding and five hours of rehearsal last night, my legs are killing me today. It's going to be a very long week. And I think I better not talk most of the week, as my voice is still a wreck after the cold (and spending yesterday afternoon breathing sawdust and paint fumes).
- Used a jigsaw. (To cut out tops for barstools for the set; I felt like one of the homeowners on Trading Spaces having Amy Wynn show them how to use the power tools.)
- Tap danced on a stage.
- Saw people heading to celebrate the Red Sox winning the World Series. (And how odd that still sounds!)
- Had water leak through my ceiling. (My landlady was apparently refilling the furnace but forgot to turn the water off, or something. A couple of stains on my bedroom ceiling, and a lingering smell, but no serious damage, fortunately.)
- Held a chuppah for a wedding. Congratulations to
tahnan and
leighjen, who looked so very, very happy.
Questions I had this weekend:
- Why would someone build a set shop that doesn't have a sink?
- How can I stop my apartment from smelling musty? (See aforementioned ceiling leak.)
