Pondering plans.
Jun. 3rd, 2005 11:12 amOne of the things I need to do this weekend is decide once and for all if I'm auditioning for Sweeney Todd or not, and settle on an audition song. I really don't know what to use; somehow "When our gallant Norman foes" doesn't quite do it... My chances of getting cast are probably pretty small, but it'd be worth the audition experience, if nothing else.
But I'm not sure what to sing. I used "Always True to You in My Fashion" for Anything Goes, but that's pretty un-Sondheimian. I used "Hold On" for Ragtime, and that's probably closer, but still not very. Maybe I can put together part of "Moments in the Woods" in time. I don't know. Any suggestions?
