Herewith I offer six small items that
Are true of me, though not of much import.
1. I've sung our anthem, once, at Fenway Park.
('Twas with the choir I used to sing within.)
2. My nose I can touch, truly, with my tongue.
3. I cannot do a backward somersault,
However much I try; I always find
I tip to one side or the other. Oof!
4. I also cannot see the "Magic Eye"
(Or stereogram) illustrations. No,
My eyes won't make them focus. I don't know
Why this is so, but they just never work.
5. Lo, I did not see Star Wars till the day
I turned nineteen. (And yes, I was alive
The year it first came out. I just was not
At all into such things, back then, I guess.)
6. I own a bonnet, doll, and butter churn
That once belonged to great-great-grandmother.
The doll is kind of ugly, true; the wax
That covers it has cracked some over time,
Which gives its face a sinister visage.
But still, I'm glad such heirlooms stay with me.
Now, who to tag? Whose usernames will work
Within this meter's limits? Let me see.

(And, really, anyone who wants to try the meme
Should not let my non-tagging keep them back.)
(In other news, my knee is still a pain,
And Boston's Green Line is a daily trial.
How people who need wheelchairs every day
(Or crutches) ever navigate this town,
I do not know. For walking, it's a great
Location, but if you can't move too well,
You'll find it challenging, if not far worse.
It's frustrating and tiring. But, enough.)
