Post-vacation miscellany.

My office is spookily quiet this morning. Much of my department is out this week, and those who are here are mostly not in yet. (I'm trying to skew my workday to the earlier side of things, so I have more time in the evenings.)

Forgot to mention in my earlier post: the Denver Post's movie critic put Wordplay in his list of top 10 movies of 2006!

Just back from Revels. Mm, Revels. We got one of my favorite Revels moments: when all 1200 or so people in Sanders Theater are singing "Dona nobis pacem" as softly as they can.

Particularly appropriate in light of world events. Give us peace, indeed.
