Weekend things.

Things I made this weekend:

• Lemon poppyseed muffins for gaming.
  
• Biscuits for me.
  
• "Improv pasta" with spinach and mushrooms.
  
• A big batch of black beans and rice. Mm, dinner this week!
  
• A coppery-brown dupioni silk skirt. (Knee-length, elastic waist. Came out reasonably well, as long as you don't look too closely at the hem.) I've had the fabric for ages and finally got around to making the skirt.
  
• A teddy bear. Didn't come out quite as well as I'd like; looks like I didn't quite catch some of the seams, or clipped the curves too energetically. Needs some repair, as well as finishing.
  

Things I didn't make this weekend:

• The gray fleece jacket I have all the makings for.
  
• Anything with the good unsweetened chocolate I have left over from making brownies the other week.
  

Things I did this weekend:

• Took stuff to the post office.
  
• Gamed in cnoocy and lorelei_sakai's Buffyverse game. We're coming up to the two-part first season finale. (Our first season. Unrelated to Buffy first season. As far as I know.) Our local gang of vampire serial killers have succeeded in getting five of the six body parts they need for their Ritual of Doom, so I imagine we will have much mayhem soon.
  
• Goofed off online a lot.
  
• Got groceries.
  

Things I didn't do this weekend:

• My taxes.
  
• Pay a couple of things that need paying.
  
• Register for Stamford.
  
• Clean house.
  
• Dance.
  
• Sing.
  

Not a bad weekend, on the whole. Quite domestic.
