It's Blank Verse Blog Week once again this year!

Good grief! I nigh forgot the time was here
For blogging in blank verse. Each year, we spend
A week commemorating Shakespeare's birth
By blogging in blank verse. So here we go.

I've added keywords to the movie meme
For those two films that yet remain unguessed.
I've been surprised how many films have come
To people's minds for sets of keywords that
I figured were unique. It's hard to know
What images stick out when people think
Of movies they have watched or heard about.

The weather's lovely -- spring has come at last!
The sunshine lifts my mood. I don't like gray
And rainy days that stick around for weeks.

I spent the weekend sewing things for LARPs.
I made some pants from fake fur (lots of fuzz
That made me sneeze!) for donating to ToV,
And worked on some new costume bits for me.
The first event for Legends comes this week,
And so the season will be underway
(For me. I know for others it began
With other games already, but not mine).
I'm glad. I'm ready to go play again.

greenlily helped me pick some songs to use
When I audition for Into the Woods.
"The Miller's Son" will show some diction skills
And character, while "Hold On"'s good for range
And presence. It was fun to go through stuff
And sing with her -- we don't do that enough!

So that's the news, and now I have to go
