Whee!

I gave up last night after the 12th inning. It was almost midnight, I'd been feeling allergic all day, and my body just couldn't keep up the necessary adrenalin levels.

So it was with great glee that, despite the error, I rolled over in bed this morning to hear Carl Kasell on NPR telling me that "the Denver Rockies advanced to the playoffs." Then he said the score (9-8), and I realized that the 13th must have been quite the inning.

Having seen the ESPN report on it now: um, yeah, that's one way to put it. Yikes!

But yay, Rockies!! My hopes for a make-Kath's-head-explode Sox-Rockies Series remain alive. :)
