Post-LARP flop.
Oct. 8th, 2007 05:54 pmOkay, so maybe it wasn't all allergies. Was fine for ToV, but started coughing some on Sunday. Figured it was just not enough water and lots of running around in unseasonably 80-degree weather, but then woke up this morning with the unmistakeable beginnings of the Cough of Doom settled into my chest. Good thing I'd already taken today off -- I slept nine hours last night and another three this afternoon!
ToV was fun, if not as amazing as usual. The PCs actually failed at a major project, for a whole variety of reasons, some player-related and some logistical. It'll be interesting to see how we fix the problem before the whole world gets slaughtered. :) I didn't have much of my own plot going on, so most of what I did was combat. There were several really good fights, I actually managed to land some blows on
gothicnomad, and I continue to be pleased with my improved physical condition. And I got told by a staff member I don't particularly know in person that I'm one of his favorite people to play with, which is always nice to hear.
