Feb. 22nd, 2008 02:38 pmOne of the people on my Galapagos tour has one of those fancy sewing machines with computer-based embroidery, where you can convert images into designs for embroidery.
She just sent me a homemade tote bag. It has an embroidered penguin on one side and an albatross on the other, taken from her pictures. The bag is in black and white, pieced from a variety of black and white fabrics -- including fabric with a crossword design. :) (Yes, this will make an appearance at Stamfklyn!)
