Things.

Happy things:

• Work bonus came in. Shopping can therefore begin. :) (Also paying for LARP season and NPL con.)
  
• Reconnecting with old friends. *waves to doctorhook*
  
• The shelf above my desk full of critters. (Stuffed flu virus and white blood cell from Giant Microbes, teddy bear named Buttercup (gift from mabfan), painted hedgehog from Oaxaca, wooden sea lion from the Galapagos, seal balancing a magnetic pen on its nose (also from mabfan), stuffed llama with people riding it from Ecuador, a hermit crab puppet, and a small purple rubber ducky.)
  
• Finding out the name of the ship my great-grandfather, his siblings, and his mother came to the US on. (The Italy, in 1877.)
  
• Singing and dancing.
  
• It's supposed to be 60 degrees tomorrow.
  

Less happy things:

• Sinus headache.
  
• Disorganized rehearsals.
  
• Going over the same table of contents for the umpteenth time.
  
• Chilly wind and rain.
  

I guess the balance works out okay, there. Mostly.
