Brigadoon closed this afternoon, very successfully. (Even if I did nearly step off a platform. Thank you for having a handy shoulder,
desireearmfeldt! :) ) My aunt E came down from New Hampshire, and
dotknocker and a bunch of handbell choir folks came too.
I'm glad I did this show. It had a lot of frustrating times in the rehearsal process, but much of the cast was really cool people, and it gelled remarkably well in the end. And it's a show I've always loved, as sappy and silly as it is, and I still love it now -- which speaks well for the production, I'd say.
Very quick strike, and a nicely relaxed party.
Now, a glass of wine, a hot bath, and then back to reality tomorrow. Not looking forward to it, especially.
