Turning point.
Jan. 20th, 2009 09:56 amInauguration day for Barack Obama.
It's not the answer to all our problems. He won't be perfect. But it's a new beginning and the end of a time a lot of us regret.
My office is setting up a TV in the cafeteria so we can watch. I'll be there, probably a little misty-eyed and with a sense of history happening in front of me. And listening to a president who can put together not merely coherent sentences, but coherent speeches, coherent ideas, and, I hope, coherent policies and actions.
I can't wait.
