For NPR fans.
May. 16th, 2005 09:11 amIf you're at all an NPR listener, you really owe it to yourself to listen to the "Not My Job" segment from this week's "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me!" broadcast. (Scroll down to "Not My Job".) Even if you aren't an NPR geek, it's still worth a listen.
Their guest this week is the guy who does the voiceovers for virtually every hyperdramatic movie trailer you've ever seen. You know, the "In a world...." sort of thing. It's fascinating to hear someone with a voice like that just talk. And when they have him do NPR taglines in the voiceover voice...well, that's why you really need to listen.
