Oh, you must get an iPod!

After my very old computer died a few months ago, I went tech-crazy and got a new desktop (Dell), laptop (first one ever, an iBook), iPod (actually, the HP-iPod to go with the Dell), and Bose speakers for the iPod at home (since I'll never figure out how to hook it up to my stereo speakers).

I still need to get better earphones for the iPod, since the default ones don't really fit. I went to the Apple store, but they don't let you try anything out, and I didn't like the Bose phones on display.

I agree -- I've always loved my iPods. (I keep upgrading: I'm on #3 right now.) If you want to save a little money, you can get a refurb directly from Apple. Go to the Apple Store page at http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/71901 and click the red SALE tag at the bottom right. Their stock fluctuates daily: right now they have all of the last generation iPod minis on sale plus the third generation iPod 4ogb model.

You can also often find the best iPod prices at Deal-Mac (http://dealmac.com/)

And then there's Target which often runs 10% off everything sales, and since they carry iPods ...

Then there's eBay if you feel kinda brave. (I've sold my old ones there at decent prices anytime I got wind of a new model that I wanted on the way.)


P.S. Considering your great track record with getting the Enigma out on time, I'd hate to see what you'd be liked more organized!
