First Sweeney read-through last night. I'd never actually heard the entire thing. Sondheim is one warped individual. Weird, weird stuff. Should be fun to do though.

Movie plug: Heights, written by my next-door neighbor growing up, opens in New York and LA this Friday and in Boston next week (and in Denver the week after, I think). It stars Glenn Close, James Marsden, Elizabeth Banks, and Isabella Rossellini, and it's been getting good reviews from Sundance and other places. Amy adapted the screenplay from a one-act play she wrote. I'm going to the Boston premiere at the Kendall theater on the 23rd; it's a pricey event, but if anyone else wants to come let me know and I'll send you the info. The general opening in Boston is on the 24th.

Well, I'd probably wear some of my slinky shiny (peachskin) dress pants and a glitzy/sexy top-- knit tank top and cool jewelry, maybe?

I could have gone to the NY premiere of Heights (got an invite through Vanity Fair), but hadn't lined up a companion and my sleep schedule that day put naptime in the early evening. So napping won out. Too bad; seeing celebs is always fun.

I've gone to lots of movie premieres (usually through Audience Extras). If you're not the star, anything that's not jeans will do.

I would wear something nice but not fancy. Maybe a skirt, heels and a nice top.

1. Good job getting cast in Sweeny!! Sweeny Todd is awesome. It's a shame Sondheim hates Willliams still. I personally think he's one of our coolest alumns.

2. Wear something elegant...but full of your personality. I find when going to big events the people who are dressed elegantly and to their own personality make a splash.
