2. I am not getting sick. Hear that, scratchy throat? I don't care if it's just-post-show and it's the time of year I always get sick and my sleep schedule's been knocked all out of whack. I'm still not getting sick. Got that?

3. Sweeney rocked the house. I'm glad I got to be part of it.

4. I have too much to do before the weekend.


- Repair bodice where the boning's poking through
- Make more spell packets if possible
- Buy food
- Clean/treat boots
- Sew new cloak (ideally; old one will probably survive another event)
- Write article for Enigma
- Pack


5. Speaking of the weekend: I'm out of green lightsticks. Anyone out there have some I can buy off you? I have a stupid number of white ones, but those are largely irrelevant now. (Hey, yandros, does the game need white lightsticks? Be happy to donate some of my stash...)

6. I suppose I should do some work now.

I have ridiculous quantities of birdseed, if you want to come over and get some. :) (I'm using some to make packets for Legends, but there's an awful lot still in the bag, and I doubt I'll have time/energy/fabric to use it all up!)

I seem to have found my birdseed (cleverly position in the box of little-used Legends equipment, which means that it doesn't matter that it's all full of birdseed), so I think I should be okay. I think all I needed was a reminder. :)

Regarding the "sick" thing - Airborne. Airborne. Airborne.

Yeah, I know supposedly it does nothing. I don't believe it. I had a dry scratchy throat multiple times during Sweeney - and it's true that it didn't go away. However, that symptom is always followed within a day by a horrific cold. I was taking enough Airborne to float a battleship - and the cold never did develop.

So yeah. Airborne.

Airborne is a herbal supplement that comes in tablet form. It's available at CVS, among other places, and hangs in the cold remedy section.

It's a tablet. You dissolve it in water and drink it. It was formulated by a second grade teacher who took it to cut down on the number of colds she caught from her students.

It seems to work, and it's not even nasty tasting (one of my issues with most of the Zinc stuff out there is the taste. Eesh.)
