Today would have been my grandfather's 106th birthday. You could always tell how old he was by just knowing the year.
It's a shame we don't have more oral (or written) family history from those who came before us. So often we find old family pictures and have no idea who anyone is.
One thing I hope to do is organize my own memorabilia. Maybe blogging will help perpetuate a record for future generations to know who we were.
