Sunday things.

Things I have:

• The Crud That's Going Around. Scratchy throat, sniffles, sneezes, general feeling of bleh.
  
• An approximately clean kitchen. Cleaner than it has been in a while, anyway. Even mopped!
  
• A new skirt, made from this fabric. It's a very simple elastic-waist, ankle-length skirt. Planning to wear it as part of an Intercon costume, and then who knows where else?
  
• A tenor for the chorus. Of course, now I need another baritone. (After some individual work, it became clear that one of our inexperienced singers really belonged in the tenor section.)
  
• Anti-Crud assistance in the form of hot and sour soup.
  

Things I did this weekend:

• Discovered that my baritone is a tenor (see above).
  
• Ate much tasty sushi.
  
• Went to "Tomb!" with people, which was quite entertaining. I hope the other people with our group weren't too annoyed by a bunch of puzzle geeks. :)
  
• Made a skirt. (See above.)
  
• Got quite a bit of sleep.
  

Things I need (not previously mentioned):

• A baritone for the chorus. (See above.)
  
• More sleep to fight the Crud.
  
• To clean the rest of the house.
  
• To go grocery shopping.
  
• To get all my Intercon stuff organized.
  
• To wish mabfan a happy birthday!!
  

Things I don't like today:

• The Crud.
  
• Doing dishes.
  

Things I like today:

• Hot and sour soup.
  
• Pretty fabric.
  
• Cozy warm blankets.
  
• My bed.
  
• This week's "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me," featuring "Jeopardy!" virtuoso Ken Jennings as the "Not My Job" guest.

Such pretty fabric! I love linen and linen-blends, but I hate to iron...quel dilemma.

This didn't seem to wrinkle too badly in the handling involved in sewing it, so we'll see how it does while being worn.
