When did the icon for bicycle lanes turn from a stick-figure on a bicycle to a stick-figure with a HELMET on a bicycle?

Wow, there are some really bizarre ones in there. The one on the top of the 2d page with the guy standing there with a huge weird shape on top of his head? I can't tell WHAT the hell that is.

Where did you get your default user icon? I've seen others like it but haven't managed to find their place of origin. You can reply randomly in my journal (I'm not a completely random stalker; I was in Sweeney with you and was reading comments in thedan's journal)
