Why, with all the theater that goes on around here, is there so little community theater that's really T-accessible?

Rent? By which I mean, places not T-accessible tend to be cheaper, and thus more conducive to community theater budgets?...

That's pretty common for community theatre, regardless of where they are. Hell, even upscale places like Turtle Lane can be pretty cliquish.

However, I think you'd be a great candidate for The Margaret Ghost. Even though it is assuredly not on your existing list of plays you want to do. :-}

Ah.

Right after I posted my question, it occured to me that you were probably referring to a bus line or some such, but up until that point my brain was not serving up helpful suggestions.

I think it's an extension of the phenomenon that really most *things* are not so T-accessible. I mean, a lot of things are, but there's a lot of greater Boston area that isn't so accessible, and those parts have their share of stuff in them. :)

Yeah, for a moment there I was wondering if Boston's theater district was less-than-welcoming of the transgendered crowd or some such.
