Mixed feelings.
Oct. 29th, 2007 08:09 amI spent last week being asked, "So who are you rooting for?" and not being able to answer.
Given how I feel this morning, I think in my heart I must have been rooting for the Rockies. I still love the Red Sox, but part of me was clearly hoping the Colorado kids would pull off an upset.
I think I'm mostly disappointed that the series wasn't longer. Sweeps aren't as interesting, especially when I like both teams.
Anyway, yay Sox nation, and Rockies, you put on one hell of a run. And there's plenty of talent there to last a long time. As we said here in New England for so many years... just wait till next year!
