Soup, etc.

I am not especially a fan of February. The weather tends to suck (and this Sunday was flat-out weird -- rain, sleet, snow, cold, wind, then sunny), and I get tired of grayness.

But, the weather is a good excuse for making soup. I made white bean, kale, and chorizo soup over the weekend. It's very, very tasty. (Though, if your digestive system is anything like mine, exercise a little caution, and maybe some Beano.) Add some good bread and it's dinner. (I followed up with homemade mixed-berry frozen yogurt, too -- hurrah for Trader Joe's frozen fruit!)

Trader Joe's frozen fruit is soooo wonderful! I bought some greek- style yogurt today and was going to get some fruit but didn't this time. I have a wee bit left in my freezer. Enough for a smoothie or two, so I figure wait til I get to the new place... which I should get the yay or nay on... tomorrow.
