Help me spend money!

I won a raffle prize of a $50 Visa gift card (one of those things that's basically a debit card, with $50 on it). I could be all good and donate the money somewhere, but honestly, I want a splurge for myself. So I'm asking for your advice, LJ-land!

It's found money; don't go all practical with it unless you have to.

The boots were my second choice (I like them more than the coat), but it's hard to top any sort of spa treatment in the category of "something you wouldn't normally spend your hard-earned money on, but it's cool when you can".

One wedding present meme I often implement is "You may notice this gift (a cheque) comes with a string attached. That's because I want you two to spend this on something you want, but do not need." This seems like a good case for implementing that, too. So I'd say the boots/coat/LARPwear.

Coat, mmm. Boots, mmm. Both the boots and the coat strike me as both LARPwear and as everydaywear, so that's a bonus. And the neat thing is, it's shareable with friends -and- semipermanent, which is why I'd avoid the spa/itunes/spore/books ideas.

Hmm. This is what _I_ would do. I don't have suggestions on what _you_ should do, though. :)

i like the coat, but not the boots. then again, i'm nt the best judge - i tend to travel with my extra money, not buy stuff... (i tend to spend my extra resources on experiences now, and not items.) but it has to be what you want. :)

That is awesome. I want that coat. But I can't have it, so you should buy it and then take pictures so I can see the shiny. Yup. That's what you should do. That is one spiffy coat.
The boots are cool too, but the coat is just a liiiiitle more oomphy.
