Aug. 15th, 2003 12:57 pmI just got an e-mail from someone for whom I wrote a couple of science features. I had to do them more quickly than I would have liked, and I hadn't heard anything, so I wasn't sure if they were any good.
The e-mail said: "Thanks for the very nice work you've done . . . The text was interesting, age-appropriate, and well-crafted." (It then went on to ask if I wanted to do more, which I'm not sure I can right now with everything else I'm doing.)
Every now and again, it's nice to be reminded that, though I may be depressive and have trouble getting going and getting organized, and I feel bad about that, I'm actually pretty damn good at what I do.
Okay, bragging over now. Must go back to editing a chapter on alcohol, tobacco, and drugs.
