Wasn't there a masthead sphinx some months back that was supposed to be you? A permission request, followed by a quick scan and crop would do it.

I think that was going to be last April's sphinx, but the artist chickened out and went with Julia Roberts instead.

If you'd like, I can send you a copy of that pic from MH2K3 of you and (I think) Clint consulting. You mentioned that that was an unusually good shot of you puzzling.

It wasn't Clint, it was someone's friend who had come in to help with one of the fake poems. But yes, I'd love a copy, in either case.

Take today's NYT puzzle that you've completed (in ink, no doubt, as it's merely a Monday ;-)  ), scan it in, and clip any 100x100-pixel area from it.
