Knowing your voice, I'd say either one would sound fabulous. I think it depends what role you're trying out for. If you're auditioning for Reno, either one would work for that. If you're also interested in trying for Mrs. Harcourt, "I Hate Men" is probably better--and if you want to discourage them from considering you for Mrs. Harcourt, "Always True To You In My Fashion" is a better choice. (Obviously that's a better choice if you're planning to audition for Bonnie, but IIRC she's kind of ditzy so I assume you're not.) Of course either one would work for the ensemble--I don't remember if there are any smaller women's solo roles. Break a leg!!!!
I'm late chiming in (was asleep for most of yesterday recovering from vacation), but I hope you picked "Always True". I love both of those songs, but "Always True" has a better melody, and I think you would carry it off well.
