(1) Don't have boffer practice with someone whose boffer isn't quite up to code.
(2) When you have a banged-up spot by your eye, don't rub your eyes.
(I took a boff to the glasses from someone who needed to fix the tip of his sword on Tuesday, and wound up with a red sort of stripe below my right eyebrow. Sheesh. Not sore particularly, except when I accidentally rub it.)

Date: 2002-09-05 01:30 pm (UTC)I think we need to pass the Bryant Bill! We can't have people constantly being injured by unregulated boffers! We need sheath guards, a ban on automatic boffers and, of course, a 72-hour waiting period to purchase a boffer. Over 70% of boffer injuries come from people who buy a boffer in the heat of emotion.
