Ow.

Okay, what the heck did I do to my wrist while assembling the desk yesterday? It's not swollen or anything, but if I move it at all it screams at me. Ow. :(

Well, I can check desk-buying off my list of things to do while unemployed, but that was the fun one. Now I have to do all the less-fun ones, like cleaning my room. Bleah. I hate cleaning. I wish I were more organized to begin with so I wouldn't end up with big piles of stuff to clean up, but that never seems to happen either. Ah well.

Wow. There's actual work space on this desk. I can proofread crossword puzzles and look stuff up to check without having to move around the house. This is good.

An utterly random question

Why does no one ever hold Messiah sings at Easter? A big chunk of the piece is about Easter, including the single most famous chorus (Hallelujah Chorus, of course) from the whole thing. But nobody ever has a Messiah singalong at Easter, only at Christmastime.

Next year, I should organize an Eastertime Messiah. It'd give me a chance to sing the alto solos, something I've always wanted to do.

I suppose I should go to bed, since my erstwhile job wants me back for a day tomorrow...
