Audition advice?

So, I'm going to go audition for A Murder Is Announced at the Belmont Dramatic Club tonight. I'm planning to use "Elsa Wertman" from Spoon River Anthology for my audition piece. But I'm not used to auditioning for non-musicals, so if anyone has any advice to offer, I'd appreciate it.
