Ask Dr. LJ: Fashion help?

I want a fun summer dress. Not too expensive. Something for general use, not a "fancy dress." Just a cute dress in size 18 that's not going to make me look frumpy.

Help?

Or rather, sad feet. The left one of my favorite, wear-all-summer sandals came apart on my way home tonight. I'm not sure it's fixable, at least not for more money than replacing the sandals would cost. (And the soles of the sandals are, admittedly, rather cracked at this point as well.)

Ecco doesn't seem to make them anymore. Pout.

On the plus side, I was walking home from a most awesome barbecue party, so I think the good outweighs the bad for the evening. :)
