Finger better today; still sore and the knuckle's still somewhat swollen (and I'm still not typing with it), but the range of motion is better.

That's awesome. It's already been ganked for at least one icon, so I've seen it around, but I didn't know the context. Now I like it even better.

(and the story makes me even more grateful that my main source for sf/fantasy is Pandemonium, where male co-customers are apt to snark at my reading choices but otherwise behave decently.)
