Season finale.

Okay, LARPing in 95+-degree weather is rough on the body. I probably lost five pounds in water this weekend. And it's even muggier back here in Boston than it was out in Spencer.

But, lots of good stuff happened. It was a very busy event; some things that we'd been working on for a long while finally came to fruition. There were some good fights, and I actually managed to talk someone into something -- a refreshing change from last time, with my terrible negotiating skills! (And I was told they didn't expect us to succeed on that one, so yay us.)

Am filthy and hot and exhausted. Sorry to those I abandoned at cleanup, but I promise I'll do the laundry I brought home with me. :)

So, the end of LARP season for the summer. Had a good time of it, both at Legends and ToV. Two LARPs in two weekends is a bit much; with everything else I had to do this week, I didn't really have time to catch up on sleep. But, it was a lot of fun.

T'was good to see you at Legends, for all that I didn't get to see you much. I hope that I've managed to plant the seeds of rebellion, but I shouldn't say more where lemurtanis is watching. ;-)

Cleanup was filthy are dirty and slow, and everyone who helped has my gratitude, especially people like you who do the complicated, ugly, smelly jobs without needing the direction that I'm usually too addled to provide. :-) Also, you missed the rain. The last 2.5 hours of cleanup were excellent larp weather. *sigh*

Now, if only I can manage to stay in Boston long enough this summer to get bored. :-)

dude i had so much fun with you this event. you rock. but yes two events back to back was so taxing. i have no energy or motivation to do much of anything now... i feel like i've been living in those worlds for too long to deal with this one much anymore. anyway it was awesome, talk to you soon man :)
