Ahh, that's better.
Jul. 31st, 2005 08:17 pmVarious cooking accomplished:
- A pot of black beans (with adobo seasoning) to have in the fridge for meals this week.
- Some pork rubbed with Galena St. rub, broiled and cut up to use in sandwiches. (Tasting the pork leads me to think that Galena St. rub makes things taste like fiery nutmeg.)
- A lovely coho salmon steak for dinner tonight, along with salad. Pan-seared the salmon after brushing it with sesame oil and sprinkling with five spice powder. Might've been better with a little more -- marinating it before cooking, maybe -- but tasty nonetheless.
- A loaf of a non-rye bread with caraway seeds; I've never done caraway in bread other than rye, so we'll see how it tastes. (It's cooling now.)
Plus, I tried the tap dance DVD I bought. Damn, but that feels good. Must do more dancing!
