I've arrived at the "brings out maternal instincts in coworkers" state of things. I'm still coughing some, but the big thing is that my voice is shot to a degree I can't remember having experienced in a long time. My boss is in Ohio, so she only hears me over the phone, and she was concerned. She even suggested I go home -- though since I'm already here, I'm not sure it's worth the schlep back across town.

I really should get some rest, though, if I want to make it to ToV this weekend without completely destroying my health. Maybe I'll splurge and pay for the wash/dry/fold service instead of doing my laundry myself.

I find that chammomile tea, with large helpings of honey and lemon really help with this sort of thing. That and a warm fuzzy blanket and a good book.
