I seem to have developed a (figurative) backbone. This is a good thing. Standing up for myself and things I think are important has not always come easy to me.

(Sorry to be a little cryptic, but I don't feel comfortable going into details of what has prompted this statement in a public forum. And it's actually not just one thing, though there is one that has most immediately precipitated the comment.)

Wow, Sax, I alredy admire you for so many reasons (intellect, wit, talent, work ethic, etc etc etc). Now I find you're assertive on top of all that! AND, you're growing as a person. Pretty danged admirable!
