The various attempts I've made with duct tape and whatnot are no longer working, so I have no power cord for my computer at the moment. I'm going to have to keep my computer off to save it for when I really need it. So, if you're looking for me outside of work hours, call me -- you probably won't find me online.

My new computer better get here soon, is all I can say!

What kind of power cord do you need? We have an old Dell or two kicking around my place.

Er, the kind that goes on an Inspiron 2650. :) It has a small round connector with multiple pins.

Hrm. I don't have the right cord. You are looking for a cord from for Inspiron 2500, 3700, 3800, 4000, 5000,7500, 8000 and Latitude CPx, C600, C800 notebooks. (PA6) They are a bit less $25 on ebay if you search for "dell pa6 power supply".

We have an inspiron 3500, which uses a different connector end.

Yeah, I've bought replacement cords before, but I was hoping not to have to do that this time, since the new computer will be here soon.
