(As I was discussing with leighjen once, I think there could be a cool T-shirt in that idea, too, showing a bunch of women in various LARPy costumes and poses. But I can't draw worth crap, so someone else'll have to do it.)
Well, this is true. I think my mental image is something along the lines of a cartoon. The whole point, to my mind, would be to show that women who LARP aren't all of the chainmail-bikini-wearing variety, and nor are we some boy's Boris Vallejo fantasy.
But yes, the artist would have to be chosen carefully.
There is actually a great photo on the MJ site of a group of us on the path to the ranger camp from the first MJ 2 game. It's the one with me and allan as two blue wargs and then a bunch of other folks. The title is "all colors and sizes" or something. One player, T. is on the far right with a shield and sword aimed at the camera. She'd be a great icon. I love that shot of her!
