Two of my very messy bookcases.







My morning commute includes a walk across the Boston Common and Public Garden. These days, there are lots of ducks -- including ducklings!









Looking up from my desk to a shelf, we find Travis the flu virus and an unnamed Oaxacan hedgehog.







A costume I wore for four-plus years and may never have reason to wear again: the Sinduri outfit. (Outfits, really; there are two bodices and two shirts in that pile along with the hat, skirts, and staff.)

The famed fedora is long gone, but this hat is its closest current equivalent.

Oh, I know. I'm not getting rid of it. I was just packing it up after doing laundry, and decided it'd make a good photo for that request.

Looking a second time reminds me that I want a derby/bowler hat. I don't think that is one... but it reminded me.
I should hunt down some ducklings. I have plenty of gosling pics, but no ducklings. Hmmm...

Yes; it's my high school senior picture. Actually, it's a set of three poses, of which two are visible. (This was my grandmother's copy of the photos, which my mother gave me after Grandma passed away.)
