Weekend update.

Busy weekend. Friday night was dinner and having my brain picked about editing, and then Sorcerer. I really enjoyed the show, and seeing everyone -- this was the first MITG&SP show I hadn't been involved with at all in quite a while, so it was good to hug everyone and cheer them on.

Saturday was set build/put-in for A Murder Is Announced. It's kind of weird when I'm one of the stronger people doing a put-in. (I'm stronger than people tend to expect, but I guess I've been spoiled by having Rob around...) We lugged things around, got flats out of a shed where they'd been for ten years (and then cleaned them!), and did initial painting. It's a simple set, just one room, but there's still work to be done. Then I went home and did some Enigma work. Getting there, getting there...

Sunday was bellringing in the morning ("Fantasy on The Ash Grove," a very pretty arrangement, and it went well), followed by gaming. cnoocy and lorelei_sakai are evil. How dare they let us think temvald was joining the game more permanently, just to have him get kidnapped and killed by a serial killer after three episodes? Sheesh. :) That's what he gets for falling in love with the Slayer. Then there was Hunt gabbing, and then it was suddenly 9 o'clock and there wasn't any weekend left.

Tonight is rehearsal. Only four or five rehearsals left, which is kind of frightening. I hope everyone has their lines down now...

Oooooh. Now I not only wish I could see oyu in the play-- I wish I could have heard those bells. The Ash Grove is one of my favourite tunes.

I am hoping hoping hoping to get to your show, but if I can't afford it, please do not take it as my being unspuurotive. There or not, I am wholeheartedly rooting for you!
